One act plays and full length plays. Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd. publishers of Scottish plays have been publishing plays for nearly 100 years. Throughout this time we have published more than 1000 'one act' and 'full length' plays.
Plays manuscripts are normally received on a fairly regular basis for assessment and these we have read by professional theatrical workers who are either producers, directors or even theatre critics and from their assessment is based our decision whether or not to publish.
Browse our site, to find a play that is suitable to your group. Once you have decided on one or more plays, we will send you the scripts. Payment must be received by us in advance of us sending scripts. Payment can be made on-line by credit card or by cheque. Please note: - Post and packaging will be added to all orders.
If your group decides to put on a performance of the play, there is a royalty fee, which at present is £ 15 (GBP) plus VAT for one-act plays and £ 30 (GBP) plus VAT for full length Plays, per performance.
This fee must be paid before the performance takes place.
