The scene of the play is a small side-room in the church where the Women's Guild committee is holding a meeting to discuss ways and means of raising money. A "Coffee Morning'' is suggested. This is fully discussed and settled even to choosing the woman who is to preside at an "Odds and Ends'' stall because she has a genius for selling things which nobody wants.
However the coffee morning is scrapped in a dramatic manner by the glowing enticement of a Quiz.
The play is laughter from beginning to end and most of the parts are very simple.
