Scottish Play: No. 200

The Ramsay family - mother, daughters Margaret and Betty, also Granny, learn from the "Missing Relatives'' section of the weekly Chronicle, of the death in Hollywood of long lost Uncle Willie whose surviving relatives are being sought.

Mother is uncertain. Margaret and Betty immediately have visions of an immense fortune coming to them but Granny is quite certain that no fortune will come from Uncle Willie.  The advertisement is answered and meantime ambitious plans are formed - plans which include large motor cars - even a luxury cabin cruiser.

In the end, Granny is proved right. There is no fortune and the castles in the air come crashing down.  The story is told with lots of humour and laughter lines and there is good characterisation and worth-while parts for all five women in the cast.
