With the monastic ideal somewhat in decline, the Brothers in the Lothians abbey of Cambusdonald, seeking to impress a possible benefactor, cast a spell and find themselves entertaining some remarkable visitors. This quick-fire farce received almost a hundred performances in the first four years of its existence including three out of four Scottish Finals. The Inverness Florians' version was placed second in 1967 and won the Glen Mackemmie Trophy, as did Stranraer A.D.C. two years later. The Play has also appeared at Eastern, Western and Highland Divisional Finals.
