The inmates of Balnair Ladies' Home are in rebellion, but are subdued by the Matron. A new maid arrives and gingers up the revolt. Two young nieces of Mrs. Martin join in the fun and complications ensue. Between them they prepare a nasty dish for the Matron, and the arrival of the Trustees foreshadows the speedy departure of the tyrant. Excellent character parts for women and one long, loud laugh for the audience.
