David Ramsay had been "The Devoted Leader of Psalmody'' in the village kirk for fifty years. Now in his old age, his heart and his soul are still in music. At times of great bodily frailty he hears the singing of the celestial choir, and thinks what a glorious thing it would be if the Lord would ask him someday to lead the heavenly choir.
