In a Scottish country town in the mid-?fteenth century, a band of strolling players arrives, sets up its stage and presents its own version of the Everyman story in prose, verse and music. When their play is over they dismantle their stage and go their way. This strong poetic drama is not a translation into Scots, the situations are similar to those in the old morality, but almost all the words are new. It has appeared in two Scottish Finals -- placed third for Aberdeen College of Education in 1965, second for Larbert High School Former Pupils in 1971. It has also appeared in all four Divisional Finals and, in 1968, at the Aberdeen Festival of Bon-Accord.
