Miss Masters, gossip and mischief-maker, while on a visit to the manse, remembers a letter she ought to have written. The minister places his study at her disposal. She sees a letter on his desk which she reads. It seems to involve the minister in a scandalous affair with a lady member of his congregation. Miss Masters retains the letter, sends it to the Presbytery and reports the matter to the women office-bearers of the church. The letter has a very innocent explanation and Miss Masters is forced to make a humble apology or become involved in a libel case. Good acting parts for eight women. Drama intermingled with plenty of laughs.
