Willie, a bachelor whose mother had recently died, is being relentlessly pursued by two widows. At first he takes their attentions as kindnesses but the kindnesses become overwhelming until his house is packed with gifts of furniture, etc., and Willie has visions of the widows stepping in as owners not only of the house but of himself. He feels really and truly trapped when the kindnesses become personal and finds himself possessor of the clothing and "lum hat'' of one of the dead husbands. How does he stand in law? The solution comes quickly. Susie a pretty young girl, bursts in during a thunderstorm and, quick as lighting captures the prize. Good playing parts for three men and three women with laughs from beginning to end.
